At Trucker Plates we use the latest high tech equipment to design, build and manufacture your name plate. All our ABS Substrate plates are manufactured to BSAU145d; this makes them stronger; more impact resistant, and last a lot longer than the old style plates. Before you ask, ABS stands for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, so now you know why we just refer to them as acrylic!!!

We also hold in stock a large selection of different size plates; design your own custom name plate for the front of your window, or for the rear wheel arch of your truck.

Road Compliant Number Plates

If you are after road compliant plates, then please visit our main sites plate builder. There are only 2 fonts that are permitted on road compliant plates, standard font and 3D font. In addition, personalisation, non-standard images, or honeycomb backing are also not legal. The spacing of the numbers and letters on your road compliant plate must be spaced as printed in your V5 (registration document) over 2 lines. Aluminium Truck Plates - (Die Pressed)

We are probably the only manufacturer of a full range of pressed metal number plates on either yellow and white reflective or black background. These fantastic number plates are of the highest quality. What make these plates so good is they are 100% impact resistant and complies to BSAU145d, which means if you do a lot of loading bay work, your rear plate will not end up smashed! So in the long run they are cheaper. You will not be disappointed with the end result - these plates are amazing. Vintage or Classic plates (pre-1973) are also available.

Our plates come with a 12-month guarantee; and our new system of manufacturing plates means they do not let in water (like the old style plates used to!), making them last a lot longer then the traditional style plates. We recommend that all plates supplied be fixed using the number plate stick-on pads or our new colour coded frames.
