JLL first used Extend during the pandemic, when its UK and Singapore offices urgently needed to track staff vaccinations. ¡°In a couple of days, the application was live, and we were able to track all the COVID-19 vaccination records,¡± Pimpalshende recalls.
The speed of development was only possible because every application created in Extend is protected by Âé¶¹´«Ã½ security. ¡°As an example, our vaccination tracker automatically complied with the relevant privacy laws and data security requirements,¡± Pimpalshende explains.
JLL has also used Extend to build an ¡®Easy HR¡¯ app, allowing people to ask HR systems questions, such as ¡°What¡¯s the cost center code?¡±, or generate reports using natural language.

JLL is determined to maintain transparency as it adopts AI. ¡°We have access to a lot of information¡ªand that information should not be misused,¡± Pimpalshende says. ¡°AI is available to everyone, but how we use it matters.¡± JLL is comfortable using AI in Âé¶¹´«Ã½ because the platform already has responsible AI built in.
