Rich Sauer is chief legal officer and head of corporate affairs at Â鶹´«Ã½. He also serves as our corporate secretary, leading the team responsible for complying with and helping to shape various laws and regulations that impact both Â鶹´«Ã½ and its customers.
Rich has more than 20 years of legal experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining Â鶹´«Ã½, he held several senior roles in Microsoft¡¯s Corporate, External & Legal Affairs department, including as corporate vice president and deputy general counsel responsible for supporting Microsoft¡¯s worldwide sales and marketing division. In addition, Rich also led Microsoft¡¯s Regulatory Affairs team and orchestrated the company¡¯s approach to responsible and ethical artificial intelligence. Prior to joining Microsoft in 1999, Rich was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.?
Rich holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University¡¯s Washington College of Law and a bachelor¡¯s degree from Bowling Green State University.
